Bring Joy This Christmas – Help Us Make a Difference
At The Cowshed, we believe every child deserves the magic of Christmas. Yet for many of the families we support, Christmas can be a time of worry rather than joy. Children facing poverty, family crisis, homelessness, or displacement may otherwise wake up to no gifts at all.
Last year, we were able to bring Christmas cheer to over 3,000 children with lovingly chosen and beautifully wrapped presents. Each gift is carefully tailored to the child, wrapped by our “Elves,” placed in a handmade sack, and delivered in time for Christmas morning smiles.
The Cowshed Christmas Project is a true celebration of community spirit, made possible by the kindness of local people, churches, schools, companies, and organisations who come together to spread festive cheer. This year, as the cost-of-living crisis continues to affect so many, the need is greater than ever.
We’d love you to be part of this magical project – and there are lots of ways you can help make Christmas special for a child in need:

The Cowshed Tree of Hope
We provide you with a pack of tags to hang on your workplace or community tree. Each tag represents a gift for a local child in need. Colleagues, friends, or customers can pick a tag, buy the suggested gift, and return it unwrapped. These gifts are then lovingly packed into handmade sacks and delivered to families who might otherwise go without. It’s a simple, festive way to come together and share the joy of Christmas.
Donate during Big Give Week
From 1st – 8th December (midday), every donation you make through The Big Give will be doubled at no extra cost to you. That means your generosity goes twice as far, helping us have an even greater impact.
By donating during Big Give Week, you’ll be part of a powerful movement of supporters, coming together to maximise the difference we can make.
