We accept the following items which are good quality, good condition:

  • Mens, Ladies and Children’s Clothing
  • Mens Suits (if already dry cleaned)
  • Promwear
  • Nightwear
  • Footwear (Clean Please! i.e. no muddy wellies, trainers or boots)
  • Belts
  • Hats
  • Gloves
  • Scarfs
  • Bags
  • Swimwear
  • Bed Linen
  • Cushion Covers
  • Towels
  • Face Cloths
  • Tea Towels
  • Curtains
  • Small Children’s toys – Including cuddly toys (must have the CE safety mark displayed)
  • Baby equipment (less than 10 years old and in good condition)

– Cots (Not drop-side and without mattress)

 – Prams (with 5-point harness)

– Cot beds and toddler beds

– Highchairs (with 5-point harness)

– Baby Baths

– Bouncy chairs (Laying down type)

– Moses Basket (without mattress)

– Travel Cot

  • Children’s books in good condition (we do not accept adult books)

Unfortunately we can now only accept the following items if they are new and unused and in the original packaging:

  • Duvets
  • Pillows
  • Underwear (briefs and socks)
  • Toiletries

We are unable to accept:

  • Bric-a-brac
  • Furniture
  • Electrical items
  • Coat Hangers
  • Sleeping Bags
  • Bedspreads
  • Wool Blankets
  • Mattresses (Any Size)
  • Baby Jumperoos or Walkers
  • Baby nests/pods
  • Any items that are soiled, marked or damaged

Whilst we have the facilities for volunteers to launder items before they are given to our clients, we are grateful if donations could be provided in clean and washed condition if possible. Any items that are not suitable to be given directly to clients will be repurposed or recycled (please see our Environmental Objectives for more details)

Please note that some items may be sold if not appropriate to give out to those in crisis. For example: evening attire, wetsuits, jewellery and fabric that’s unsuitable for our craft group. This allows us to raise vital funds for the charity.
