Protecting your privacy

The Cowshed takes the responsibility of protecting volunteer’s, client’s and stake holder’s personal information very seriously. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is an EU law designed to protect the privacy of all individuals within the European Union and the European Economic Area. It came into force on 25 May 2018. It tells us how we should collect, store, and use people’s personal data. Personal data can be anything that can be used to identify a living person. It could include an address, phone number or full name. It can be digital (on a computer) or physical (printed out or paperwork). Sensitive personal data can be identifiable information that if misused can have a detrimental effect to the person. If you would like to know more about how we protect your privacy, please request a copy of our GDPR policy by emailing info@thecowshed.org.
